Currently our office is a contracted in- network provider for Aetna, Advantica, Essence plans thru Advantica, Ameritas, Assurant, Cigna, Delta PPO, Guardian PPO, DentalGuard Preferred PPO, Healthscope, Lincoln Financial, MetLife PPO, Principal /Principal Life PPO, Sunlife, United Concordia and United Healthcare PPO. The office does NOT participate in any DMO capitation plans or Medicaid plans. Lately many insurance companies have"leased" other companies' networks so it is very important to research your insurance. Just because the name of your insurance company doesn't appear on this list; it could be that they are using one of these networks and you would be "in-network" with our office. another common occurrence is that the medical and dental use two different companies or networks. Our staff has many years of experience dealing with dental insurance and are happy to assist you but we have no special contacts or "hotlines" for last minute emergencies. It is the patient's responsibility to provide accurate and detailed insurance and billing information PRIOR to every appointment to update any changes to allow our billing and insurance software to operate smoothly. The staff is under direction not to accept appointments unitl all the accurate insurance information has been completed and verified. All patient portions, co- insurance and co-pays are collected at the time of service. Please note the office reduces its fees to be an "in-network provider so it is imperative all fees are collected when the claims are filed.
